Many young car owners are left completely complex when their beloved car breaks down and yet there is often a simply reason for the break down. One of the most common causes for car break downs is the car battery. If only these new car owners would get some of the most basic information on how to maintain their cars they could avoid many costly break downs.
The AA reports that the number one cause for breakdowns is faulty car batteries due to lack of maintenance on the part of the owners. Whether you are interested in how your car works or not we are all interested in saving ourselves time and money! So, checking your car battery water levels on a regular basis is one of many checks you should carry out at least on a monthly basis.
With the cost of car parts and in particular car batteries getting more and more expensive this should be a good reason for keeping yours in top condition. Even if you cannot be bothered to make these checks yourself you should at least get your car into a garage and let them check it for you.
