Q: Can I sign up for the first tournament of a sector or an Elite Series at

Captains meeting to receive 1 free membership?

A: No, must be done before cut-off date. This is a one time offer

for each sector or and first Elite tournament.

Q: Why do I or a team need to be a member?

A: Your membership help promotes our Organization and provides income for

other programs and for our operating expenses keeping the minimum take from a tournament payout at 12.5%.

Q: What is consider family membership?

A: Family consist of the household, living under one roof.

Q: Why is there s Family membership?

A: XKTS as a whole is trying to make tournament fishing affordable with

the family membership fee.

Q: Can a family team switch a family member with a competing member?

A: Yes, But the tournament will not count towards the Family award at the end of the

Season.

Q: Can I switch team members in an event?

A: Yes, only in an Open event XKST shall be notified of the change.

Elite teams must stay together for the event and Series

Q: Do I need to compete in all tournament in a sector to qualify for the

Championship title series tournament?

A: No, You chances improve the more tournaments you compete in.

Q: Can any one or team compete in an Elite series?

A: Yes, you must sign up for an Elite membership and obey the rules.

This series is limited to 75 teams.

Q: Why can’t an Elite teams compete in an Open tournament at the same when an Elite

tournament is going on at the same event?

A: XKTS feels Elite teams have an advantage over Open series teams.

By comparasate is NASCAR, experience drivers are in the Sprint Series, Bigger

Money. Up comers are in Nationwide Series. But times have changed over the years

NASCAR wasn’t filling stands at the nationwide series events. So they brought

Sprint car drivers to fill the stands. Bottom line we want a level playing field.

Q: Can I compete in more than one sector.

A: Yes, you will qualify for only one spot for the championship title.

Your highest placement in anyone sector will qualify your team.

Q: Will I be able to change team members for the Championship title event?

A: Only if the member has fished two or more tournaments in the series.

Q: Why is only 50% is paid out at each sector event?

A: 50% payout, 25% is put into Championship bank

12.5% is donated to Special Olympics 12.5% operating cost.

Q: What is the payout for Elite tournaments

A: 75% payout 25% championship bank

Q: What is a championship bank?

A: It is like a 401K the more everyone competes the

Larger the Championship purse will be.

Q: What will the championship money payout be?

A: 50/50, 50% on Single class and 50% Open class

Compete for the same amounts in each class.

This may be changed to allow a 100% free Championship event.

Elite class will compete for there own Championship

Series title.

Q: Is there an entry fee for the Championship Title?

A: No, there may be a very small fee. TBA

Q: Why is XKTS tournament based on a aggregate total instead of biggest fish format?

A: Two day tournament, XKTS felt every team has a better chance of catching 2 nice fish and feeling still having a chance

on the second day of completion to do well. There is a biggest fish point bonus.
